17 AN UTILIZATION OF ATTIC

The architectural form has evolved from stonehenge, then arch, vault and dome. However, since the Roman dome was invented, architecture has hardly developed. For a long time, I have been searching for the forthcoming architectural forms which Rudolf Steiner anticipated (STEINER, 1957). When I came to know the Penrose-lattice at last (PENROSE, 1978), I was inspired that it was nothing less than the form that I had been looking for.
Then I designed two works, using 1-, 2- and 3-dimensional Penrose-lattice as grid planning. One is a city planning named "self-similar and quasi-periodic city" , and the other is the six
dimensional monument had grown up in such environment his intelligence could have mastered higher dimensional logic beyond the dialectic.
